What surfaces can this cat window bed attach to?
It only works on smooth, clean, non-porous glass surfaces, such as house windows, sliding glass doors and glass shower panels. Textured glass, frosted glass, screens, wood, wall paint, tile with texture and plastic film cannot hold the suction cups firmly and are not recommended.
How much weight can the suction cat window bed hold?
Equipped with upgraded reinforced large suction cups, the perch safely supports cats up to 40 lbs (18kg). It fits kittens, medium adult cats and large breed cats. For multi-cat households, we suggest one cat per bed for maximum stability.
Why do the suction cups keep falling off after installation?
A: There are 4 common reasons & solutions:
- The window glass has dust, oil, pet hair or water stains. Wipe the glass and suction cups thoroughly with a dry cloth before installation.
- Air trapped inside suction cups. Press each suction cup hard and squeeze out all air bubbles tightly.
- Cold weather reduces suction performance. Warm the suction cups with warm water before sticking.
- The cat jumps roughly or climbs violently onto the bed frequently. Re-press suction cups every 3–7 days for daily safety check.
How long does it take to finish installation? Do I need extra tools?
A: No extra tools required. The whole setup takes only 2–3 minutes: clean glass → press suction cups on window → hang the hammock mat. We also include detailed step-by-step instructions in every package.
Can I move the cat bed to another window anytime?
A: Yes. Simply peel off each suction cup slowly, wipe glass and cups clean, then reattach to any smooth glass window you want.
Will the metal bracket scratch my window glass?
A: No. The metal frame only hangs on suction cups and never touches the glass directly. There is no scratch risk to your windows.
Is the bed mat removable and machine washable?
A: The soft cushion mat is fully detachable. You can take it off to hand wash or machine wash on a gentle cycle, then air dry. The metal frame and suction cups only need to be wiped with damp cloth.
Is the fabric breathable for hot summer days?
A: There are a total of two materials to choose from, the mesh material is breathable and keeps your cat cool and comfortable in the hot summer, and in the fall and winter you can use the faux rabbit fur material, which is soft and warm and provides a cozy resting environment for your cat in the cold season.
Will the suction cups turn yellow or lose stickiness quickly?
A: Our suction cups are made of thick upgraded soft PVC. With regular cleaning, they stay transparent and strong for long-term use. Replacements of suction cups are available for purchase separately if needed.
Is this hanging cat hammock safe for small kittens?
A: Safe for kittens over 3 months old. We recommend supervising kittens during their first few uses until they get familiar with the perch.
Can my cat sleep on this bed all day long?
